One of the things we dont get a lot of in the West is cherries. Both Paul and I remember living in London where we could get a bag of yummy black cherries for £2 for 2lb, hmmm.... yummm... it was always almost like that scene in with the cherries in the Witches of Eastwick! Anyways I digress. For some reason we have a sudden supply of 'reasonably' priced cherries here. So my favourite recipe for cherries is Cherry Clafouti. It is a really simple recipe and quick to make... well other than de-pipping the cherries.
