ok.... moving hotels now....
Now the conference is located at the only conference centre on the island and in the same complex as a 1,000 room time-share apartments style place, so after a few days of no airconditioning, constant congo lines around the pool and dodging all the prams, we have decided to move hotels to one thats a little quieter and has aircon ~ a must since its 43-45C today! I know we must be getting old! HA!
The new place hasn't got internet up, so the next update might have to wait now Thailand. Missing you all heaps.

Ahhh.... back to the real world of reliable internet...
More posts on Rome to come now that we have reliable internet again! phew!
And on to Sunday...
Well first stop was a famous Palazzo Borghese, unforuntately no photos allowed, but BLOODY FANTASTIC collection. This place was setup by one of the wealthy families of Rome, and includes the most amazing Berini sculptures (all with head, arms and bits), frescos, art (Michelango, Caravaggio and Raphaelo's) and mosaics, and all set in a fabulous park.
... and museums galore...
this one included statues and mosaics... The Museo Nazional Romano. The statues first.
