Today, something a little different. On Sunday I went out for a photowalk whilst the boy was out riding (he did 90kms). I came across this 'thing' whilst out and about, and was very intrigued by what I saw. Initially it looked like matches that had been stuck into something with the end slightly split. I had some difficultly trying to render the image the way I was initially taken by 'it'. Finally I decided on a macro lens, my favourite at the moment is the 105mm f2.8, hand held at 1/60, IS0320, f9.5. The object... one of my favourite subjects... flower. It is an Australian native of some type. If anyone knows what it is, please drop me a line.
