Hi guys,

Just a quick update, I've now been assessed, reviewed, quizzed and all that type of stuff and am now a Full Accredited Member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and also now the Australian Commerical Media Photographers (ACMP).  A very happy chappy :D

Cheers

oh... I can now place this on my website  :D

in the car park....

Another find on a personal photowalk... in a desolate (second time I have used that word in two posts!) and derilict part of Perth, in a disused church car park.  I was taken by the light hitting the grass seed heads... hmmm... reminants of a warm summer day.

criss-cross

On a personal photowalk I came across this scene.  I was captured by the light and contrast.  Just the right moment and the right place and time.  Very little post processing... the contrast was all there.

New York security issue...

One of my favourite images from New York.  I'm not sure if I have put it up before.  Probably have.  For those who dont know... Museum security people in New York get a bit twitchy when a certain Australian photographer started laying on the floor shooting the stairwell and roof... whilst all around him people where shooting the works of art... apparently its not cool... just as well I did it at the end of the visit as we got invited to leave!  Oh well.  :D

*edit - yes indeed I have put it up before... ahh... oh well... its a nice image... so your getting it again :D*

Ahhh...Melbourne...

This is another of my all time favourites.  Shot in 2005, again straight from the camera.  Love the colour and vibrance of the shot of this mall in Melbourne and the yellow scooter just sets it all off brilliantly for me.   Shot whilst on a trip to Melbourne for the lovely MCS 50th extravagansa.  I had to get the troops back to this location the day after I spotted it.  The boy knew exactly what I was trying to do ... and humoured me :D  Love the shot.

Still far away...

So if you didn't guess the last location, this one is sure to give it away ;-)  Again, another composition from the other photographer at Kingsley Burton Photography :D

Away from the beach....

OK, enough of Bali for the time being.  Anyone know where this is?  This shot is courtesy of the other photographer :D  Paul did a great job.  Actually I think he has a much better eye than I do.  I love this composition, the light, the contrast.

Bali VII

A sunset in Bali.  I was captured by the rough natural beauty of this location and the great colours of the sunset and contrast with the ocean.
